Getting started
What is Money2Abroad?
Money2Abroad is a digital outward remittance desk for Indian travel agencies. We help your team quote live FX rates, collect KYC and beneficiary details, complete Form A2 / LRS paperwork, pay online and track SWIFT confirmation , all from one workspace.
Who is this built for?
Travel agents, OTAs and tour operators in India who handle outward remittance for DMCs, overseas hotels, visa processors, universities and close-relative maintenance transfers.
How do we onboard?
Share your agency PAN, GST and authorised-signatory KYC documents (along with any sector registrations, where applicable). The partner desk carries out verification in line with the AD bank's KYC and onboarding norms before activating the agency workspace.
Rates & payments
How are FX rates decided?
Live interbank rates are displayed inside the portal with the Money2Abroad spread applied. You can compare against your traditional bank quote before locking a rate for the customer.
Can we lock a rate?
Yes. Once the customer confirms, you can lock the displayed rate for the booking. The rate stays valid for the agreed settlement window for that purpose code.
How is payment collected from the customer?
NEFT, RTGS and approved online collection flows are supported. Card-funded settlement is available for permitted use cases through the AD bank's authorised payment gateways.
How long does a remittance take to settle?
Settlement timing depends on the corridor, the AD bank's processing window, intermediary banks and overseas beneficiary bank cut-offs. SWIFT confirmation is shared inside the portal once the AD bank initiates the transfer.
Compliance & documents
Which remittance purposes are supported?
Tour cost (DMC and hotels), visa processing fees, overseas education (tuition and living expenses) and close-relative maintenance under LRS. Additional purpose categories can be configured for your agency.
Do we still need Form A2?
Yes , Form A2 and LRS declarations are mandatory under FEMA. The portal pre-fills them based on the purpose code and your customer’s KYC, so your counter just reviews and signs digitally.
Is Money2Abroad authorised to handle remittances?
Money2Abroad is a remittance technology platform and is not itself an Authorised Dealer. Every transfer is executed by Authorised Dealer (AD-I) partner banks that hold the applicable authorisations, in line with FEMA and the LRS. Customer funds never sit on our balance sheet.
What about data security?
KYC documents are stored in an encrypted vault with role-based access. Remittance flows are routed through Authorised Dealer (AD-I) scheduled banks, and partner systems follow industry-standard information-security controls.
Workspace & support
Can multiple branches use one account?
Yes. Each branch gets its own ledger, users and approval roles. Maker-checker is supported so a counter can create a request and a manager approves before submission.
Do you offer an API?
Yes , an open API with webhooks for every status event so you can plug remittance status into your CRM or back-office.
How do we reach support?
Email [email protected] or call +91 79 4891 6100 / +91 98989 06133 during Indian business hours. Priority desks are available for partnered agencies.
